Soak the black chana /chickpea in water for 4 hours.
Then boil them in pressure cooker with little amount of salt and water up-to 2 whistles in low flame.
Then switch off the flame and keep the boiled chickpea aside.
Heat a wok with ghee and then add all the whole spices in it.
After 20 seconds add the chopped onion, green chilli in it.
When the onions become transluscent then add the ginger garlic paste in it and saute it for sometimes till the raw smell of garlic has gone.
Then add the chopped tomatoes along with turmeric powder,salt coriander powder and Chana masala in it and cook it for 5 minutes till the masala release the ghee.
Then add the boiled chickpea and again cook it for 2-3 minutes.
Add rice and water and cover it for 10-15 minutes till the rice cooked properly.
Then switch off the flame and your chana masala pulao is ready. Serve hot with raita.
